As a performing artist I've found that carrying all those books around which you haven't memorized yet quite cumbersome and too heavy to go and play a gig.
Also you have a request list from clients and what easier way is to create a setlist on your iPad which really facilitates the whole process.
I've virtually scanned most of my library repertoire to PDF's and uploaded them onto my iPad in the sheet music apps ForScore and PiaScore.
They are the most amazing apps to date for your iPad.
I have posted an example in my download free sheet music page for you to look at.
There is also a page where you can contact me when searching for a particular song.
Ask me what you are looking for and I'll search my database and then post it for you to download.
It has taken me ages to scan everything; golden oldies and old piano albums as an example, which I had to filter in Photoshop to make yellow pages white again, plus straightening etc exporting to PDF format.
I'm an accompanist for string players and singers and have music in my library to cater for concertos to popular.
If you have any music that needs scanning, I'll do it with pleasure.
